Seeing as I already did a write-up on
my least favorite moves of this offseason, it’s only
fitting that I make my feelings known about which moves I like best. So without any more delay, I give you my five “Best Moves of 2008 Offseason”
Well Hoopshype is reporting that Ronald “Super Dupe”
Dupree, the former Piston small forward has signed on
with the Cavs to compete for a roster spot in training camp. Ronald Dupree, who will go in history as the last player inked by the Seattle SuperSonics, will be signed by the ...
Well, with the season still a month away
roughly, it’s time to start putting making some predictions
and getting on my soapbox. So I give you my first “The Worst Offseason Moves of (insert year)” piece. 1.) The Nuggets trade Marcus Camby for a second-round pick: Fine. You ...
So Bob Finnan had a follow up to
the Delonte West signing that included some concrete numbers,
but more importantly, it included information about the all-important third year, which previously had been reported as one that included a team option. While that is by and large true, Delonte
Well just as I was thinking, “nothing is
going on today”, Brian Windhorst has reported that Delonte
West has resigned with the Cavs for the term of two years, at a per year salary of $4-5 million dollars. From his article: After a summer of intense negotiations, the team came to ...
I was watching The Sarah Connor Chronicles the
other night, and without even seeing the show, everybody
reading this understands the premise of how the Terminator movies worked. Some guy developed this piece of technology. It got a mind of it’s own. It killed everyone. Sometimes I wonder if people e
Well Tom Withers of the AP asked Braylon
Edwards about how he felt regarding Lebron’s allegiances to
both the Cowboys and Yankees. Braylon of all people is in an interesting position considering he went to Michigan and now plays in Buckeye country. He had this to say: “I give him credit for being lo
In an expected move over the weekend, Lorenzen
Wright’s signing was followed by Darnell Jackson joining the
team officially. From the AP: CLEVELAND (AP) — The Cleveland Cavaliers signed forward Darnell Jackson on Saturday. The Cavaliers acquired the rights to Jackson, 22, from Miami during this year
Over the weekend, Lebron James, and 3 of
his 4 former Saint Vincent - Saint Mary teammates
were in attendance for the Toronto Film Festival for a new documentary, one that followed their development as basketball players and people while in high school. The documentary was filmed by Kristopher Belma
Inferiority complex much? Cavs Board chastises Cleveland fans
for their sense of entitlement around Lebron James's rooting
interests after he was seen hanging out with the Dallas Cowboys.
As promised, here’s the video that surfaced from
yesterday’s game of horse between Lebron James and Cub
Cadet’s “Lebron Trick Shot Challenge Winner” David Kalb. a Lebron Loses HORSE…. on film
In a move that was expected for the
last week, the Cavs added Lorenzen Wright. From Mary
Schmitt Boyer in the Cleveland Plains Dealer: The Cavaliers have signed veteran center Lorenzen Wright to a contract, Cavs general manager Danny Ferry announced today. Per team and league policy, terms of the de
Many of you have already seen the rumors
of the Cavs interest in Lorenzen Wright and/or Juwan
Howard. Well Brian Windhorst is saying that it will be Lorenzen Wright. He rarely jumps the gun on things, so I’d say it’s a safe bet I’ll be following up with an article about his signing within a [...]
Well ESPN is reporting that Lebron choked away
two games of HORSE against David Kalb: LeBron James
could be excused for his poor shooting from behind the arc, and for being blown out in a game of H-O-R-S-E with a warehouse worker in a beach exhibition. James was still floating in the clouds from his
I love YouTube videos of trick shots. But
then, who doesn’t? Today, thanks to Cub Cadet’s “Lebron’s
Trick Shot Challenge”, one lucky winner earned the right to get dominated by Lebron James on a basketball court in Venice, California.
Lebron was asked (or rather assailed) to appear
on radio in Los Angeles. According to the show’s
producer, he agreed initially, but when given to the phone to do the interview, four words (repeated three times) ended that producers "get": "I don't do radio, I don't do radio, I don't do radio".
Cavs Board announces Donyell Marshall's signing with the
Philadelphia 76ers.
It’s all but a certainty that any deal
related to the Cavs, Knicks, or Nets will be
tied to “luring Lebron in 2010″. Well the recent rumors of Zach Randolph being shopped to Memphis for Darko Milicic and Antoine Walker’s bloated expiring deal have done just that. From Hoopsworld: This morning’s top
The best part of this video to me
is not Lebron singing the star-spangled banner….. It’s definitely
how excited everyone is in stark contrast to Carlos Boozer. Obviously sitting on the bench pretty much all game every game gave him a lot of time to soak in the magnitude of what it wo
Cavs Board compares recent photos of Lebron James
and Jason Kidd and question their relationship.
