Dale Jarrett will finally "race" the truck and Lowe's Motor Speedway is offering a special two-day ticket package for just $44 so fans can be on hand May 17 when Jarrett's "Signed, Sealed, Delivered Tour" culminates at the Sprint All-Star Race.

The event, which celebrates the birth date of the seven-time NASCAR champion, also serves as a major benefit for the Dale Earnhardt Foundation, with a percentage of the event's merchandise sales being donated to the Foundation.

Paving of the racing surface at Darlington Raceway has been completed, track president Chris Browning announced Wednesday. "This begins a new chapter in the history books at Darlington Raceway," Browning said. "We are very excited to be finished with the paving so that we can now focus on preparing for the upcoming Dodge Challenger 500 race weekend, May 8-10."
