Another exciting week is behind us, as we
inch closer to the fantasy baseball playoffs.
See what players' stock is on the rise
and and decline in the fantasy baseball world
RotoDish's weekly rundown of the biggest hitters, pitchers,
and disappointments.
The Pittsburgh Pirates gave up Xavier ”the X
man” Nady, but they might have acquired their new
ace, Jeff Karsten, a 24 year old 6′3″ right hander. The Pirate’s rotation owns the worst ERA in the NL, but that might not be the case if Karsten can pitch half as well for the remainder of the season.
The Big Board is a moderately helpful tool
that can be used as a draft kit or
to help determine the validity of a trade proposal. I’ve used it before, but theres always a few rankings that must be there as a result of drug use.
Ken Griffey Junior, Manny Ramirez, and Pudge Rodriguez.
Quite a powerhouse crew being pushed before the trade
deadline this year.
The Anaheim Angels traded first baseman Casey Kotchman
(solid contract that doesn’t come due until 2011) and

The San Francisco Giant Disappointments traded switch-hitting 2b
Ray Durham to the Brew Crew for outfielder Darren
Ford and lefty pitcher Steve Hammond. The Brewers are clearly making a push for the playoffs after trading for CC Sabathia and now Durham...
Peter Gammons compares Josh Hamilton’s hero status to
Babe Ruth and Jackie Robinson. I think Josh Hamilton
is an inspiration, but it is about time we hop off of his dick for 5 minutes and smell the coffee. Hamilton is a stud, but you can even overpay for the Mona Lisa. Now is the time to trade away Hamilton to one of his secret admirers in your Fantasy Baseball league
