If you've ever been to an NFL touting
service site, than you know that they like to
lie through their teeth. And disturbingly, seem okay with it. V.B. is the complete opposite -- it offers no locks or sure things. Just a documented system that's clocking in at a 63.6% success rate so far this year.
Are you sick of all of the start/sit
articles telling you to start superstars? Whoever reads these
types of articles already knows that it would behoove them to start Anquan Boldin. My start em sit em's focus on players your actually having trouble deciding whether or not to start. AKA: Its helpful.

and Jerry Angelo. Also includes a surprise guest host!
Whoever wins gets to keep their job and the other three are fired. On the spot. Think you can guess who wins?
I know I said I was going to
try and do a bottom five, top five type
deal with this – but instead I’m just going to focus on the bottom ten teams. Think of it as a black abyss in regards to a team’s playoff hopes. The good news? It’s only Week 2. So there’s no reason to get all hysterical and pa...
Who's a good start? Who's a good sit?
Which one of the scrubs in your waiver wire/free
agent pool would make a worthy addition to your team?

happy ending of playoff predictions to round everything off.
If you put any kind of stake in football blog NFL previews, then this IS the preview for you. Note how I capitalized is. It was for emphasis.
The biggest milestone that we seem to have
set for running backs is for when they turn
30 years old. It’s not even a good milestone either, despite what the majority of the population will tell you. Our brains have been wired to signal alarm sounds in our minds and produce tunnel vision whenever...
The proof is after the jump.
To be honest, I’ve never really paid much
attention to WR targets. Don’t ask me why, I
just didn’t. I knew about them, but I never really tried to put them into context -- probably because I was too lazy. When you do think about them though, the more targets a player gets, the more his chance is to succeed. The better his chance to succeed, the more points he’ll likely put up for you...
Comatose sleeper (noun) - A player so far
on under the radar that most fair-weather fans don’t
even know they exist. The few that are aware are so because of the projections they have done for the players future, which they have done because of their statistic-addled addiction to fantasy sports. It would behoove you to read this if you'd like an edge in the rounds that matter.. a la: 12+
Welcome to the second part of the Filtered
Strength of Schedule Rankings. If you haven’t read part
one, these rankings will allow you to assign a filtered, position-specific value to a team based on the quality of the run or pass defenses they will be playing that year. Then you can apply it to all of the applicable players and viola, you have yet another statistic to give you an edge on draft day
You can mix and match the top players
all you want. If you take out the specific
rankings, everyone’s Top 20’s will often have the same 20 players on it. Wouldn’t it behoove us to focus more on lists of players who aren’t on everyone’s lists? Who cares if we end up learning entirely too much about Hank Baskett to warrant utilizing during the season. All that matters is that you win the money!
In the interests of fantasy owners who have
been met their downfall thanks to a committee backfield
in Denver, I have embarked on a quest. I did not know where it would take me nor did I know what I would find. I just knew that it was a quest worth taking. If you'd like to know a possible answer to one of the unsolved mysteries of our time, then you've come to the right place.
Fantasy Football Crack presents 'Filtered Strength of Schedule
Rankings' which allows you to assign a filtered, position-specific
value to a team and thus all the players at that position and is based on a point value of the defenses they will be playing for the year. It serves as an excellent piece of information to have with you come draft day. Enough of a description? Good, now go read it!
I was going to make this a top
30 like the running back edition but ended up
not having too much fun digging through the dregs of the league’s QB’s in order to rank the late twenties. Always one to alter things on the fly if it will convenience me, I cut the list down to the top 20. My temples have since thanked me for it.
Part 2 of the pre-season preview. Includes things
to watch for, position battles and everything in between.
Make sure you have a lot of time on your hands, though -- it's pretty long. Naturally, it makes excellent bathroom reading. Teams are sorted with the help of our friend the alphabet.
Contrary to most reports that stated Commissioner Goodell
would deliver his decision on Monday in regards to
Favre's reinstatement (and even some last night that said Favre would take the retirement package), ESPN is reporting that the Commissioner has officially reinstated Brett Favre. Just in time for family day! The plot thickens!
Most people are excited for the first three
downs of the first pre-season game usually and then
they find their interests wean off completely until the actual season starts. However, if you’re aware of some key position battles and storylines to monitor then you may just remain interested longer than you think.
On the brink of the NFL's pre-season, it's
finally okay to do some division previews without getting
made fun of. Good times!
