The Free Press ran a story about Brandon
Inge taking over as the Detroit Tigers' number one
catcher next year. Even though it said nothing about Inge replacing Pudge entirely, we thought it would be fun to see how interchangeable the two are in terms of what they mean to the offense.
The pair's pending return does beg the question
though. Detroit's bullpen this year has eight blown saves
and the team is ten games under .500. If Rodney and Zumaya were both healthy and pitching lights out all season long, where then would the Tigers be looking...
The Detroit Tigers are in another losing streak.
Rather than dwell on the smell coming out of
Motown, let's use some of this space to take another look at these streaks, and how to get through them.
As long as manager Jim Leyland and the
Tigers are gambling with their defensive positioning...
The Detroit Tigers have won a baseball game.
It wasn't the prettiest win, but in the end,
like drunken frat boys at two in the morning, they took what they could get.
Seems to be keeping a grip on reality
in the midst of the Detroit Tigers losing streak.
