According to News10 in Sacramento, Kings center Justin Williams is being accused of having drugged and raped a woman at his home on October 11th. Additional Kings personnel are said to have been on site at the time of the alleged assault.

Yahoo will announce tomorrow it has bought collegiate sports site Rivals.com. Rivals.com runs a subscription business, charging $10 to $100 per month to 185,000 subscribers. Its peak traffic was 2.57 million visitors last September at the kickoff of college football season.

The Sacramento Kings were the backup, and the Magic got their man. When most sane Kings fans went to bed on Wednesday night, all indications were that Stan Van Gundy was to be the Kings' new coach in the morning. But the only clues you had that he was ever there were the lingering smell of aftershave, your rumpled sheets, and the toilet seat was left up. Because we got screwed.

Down 7-5 to the Indians to start the 9th, the A's Milton Bradley clubbed a 2 out, 2 strike, 2 run home run to tie the game up... setting the plate for Jack Cust, super hero, who bombed a 3 run shot to win it. Oakland is now a scene of pure bedlam, and Cust has 6 homers in a mere 26 ABs.

29 year-old St. Louis Cardinals reliever Josh Hancock died in a car crash early this morning, and tonight's game against the Cubs is postponed. Hancock was a key element of the Cards' playoff run last year. In 2007 he was 0-1 with a 3.55 ERA in 8 games.
