For Philadelphia Phillies fans, it was the best
of times, unless you are Ted Passon, who's "best
of times" turned into a "worst of times" at the flip of a switch, or in this case...car. "Hey Philly, remember when we just won the world series for the first time in
July 27th, 2008 Dear Mr. Ramirez, I’ve long
admired your ability to hit a baseball. In my
book, you will go down as one of the most feared and productive hitters in baseball during your sixteen major league seasons (1993-present). It is impossible to argue with the .312/.409/.590 - yes that’s an career OPS of .999 - the 509 home runs and the 1667 runs batted in. read the rest at MVN.com...
Jerry Remy and Don Orsillo are having trouble
with the security in Cleveland and aren’t able to
convince the “guard” that they are “on the list” for admittance to Jacobs Field. But the best part comes when Manny Ramirez pulls up and saunters right in leaving Remy and DO in his wake. Classic.
Is Curt Schilling worthy of Hall of Fame
consideration? I think he stacks up more favorably than
most.
Doug Christie goes off... "A champion is treated
in a whole different light. They are valued in
the locker room and commercially on a whole different level. For years, my wife and I have been ridiculed and talked about like we are weird, all because we did not fit the “mold” of what the culture breeds in the NBA."

makes the Red Sox the team to beat in the American League.
The NBA's doing it right this year and
the grassroots promotion of the dunk contest is gathering
steam. I expect this to be a show putting the contest back on the national map of must see events.
Looks like it. Scary thought when the defending
champs look better than the year they won it.
The Red Sox didn't do much this offseason,
but will it hurt them? Here's the first installment
looking at the infield and seeing if it stacks up to 2007. At the end of the series, we'll make broad sweeping judgments on the Sox 2008.
Certainly sounds credible.. “In 2004 I was having
multiple health issues and was concerned about not getting
on the field fast enough. I made a phone call to (Kirk) Radomski about a substance called Anavar. Once I learned Anavar was classified as a steroid I realized that was not an option. That was the end of it. Yes I called him. But I did not purchase or receive anything from him..."
Watching this video, hearing the crowd...I am ready
for more baseball...How long until spring?
Could this really be going any better for
the Patriots? When Vinatieri is missing 29 yard game
winners, you know that karma is on the side of the hooded master.
How bad has Lugo been in a Red
Sox uniform? Let me count the ways.
Manny Ramirez is at it again. For $139,000
you could be the proud owner of his 1967
Lincoln Continental convertible, and some "sports memorabilia" to boot. That's just Manny being Manny...
J.D. Drew can't be as bad as he's
been so far, can he? Let's look through his
career to find out.
