Tommie Harris just inked a four year $40
million contract with the Chicago Bears, so any rumors
of Harris leaving Chicago can now be classified as false.
Many hardcore basketball fans were completely taken aback
when they heard the news that aging Shaquille O’Neal
was being traded to the Western power house, Phoenix Suns. Shaq is getting old and the last two years, he has begin to play like it. Sure, Shaq is huge and the Suns have lacked a true center, even while being extremely successfully, but the Suns are a running team. Let’s be honest, ...

find out my analysis of the situation in the

There were a ton of games played today
and quite a few important matches to be decided
to see the seeding of the big tournament. I personally can’t wait for the tournament to kick off and I watch it every year. Next Sunday is the official selection day for the tournament brackets and rankings. It should be a hell of a week leading up to the selections and the next month is going to be just ...

I thought I would do a brief follow-up
on how I felt the trade the Montreal Canadiens
have done since the trade deadline this year. After trading away goalie Cristobal Huet away I thought the Canadiens would be in for a rough time finishing up the season and then the play-offs. It was quite clear to me that the Canadiens would make the play-offs this year but I didn’t think they would do so well.
Tracy McGrady lead the Houston Rockets to their
record setting sixteenth win in a row which is
some streak for any team, especially a team with an injured center (Yao Ming). Yao Ming has been sidelined for the rest of the season due to needing surgery. The Rockets will need McGrady to perform like he did last night if they want to stand a chance in the play-offs.
Brett Favre announced yesterday that he is finally
going to retire after 17 long seasons in the
NFL. Brett says he can still play which I believe but he feels mentally drained he said and that isn’t what the Green Bay Packers need this year. In a way the Packers needed to move on and although it will be tough at first I see a bright future for the team. They can now focus on developing Aaron ...
Well it’s that time again and the market
to the free agents will open at midnight eastern
time. There are quite a few nice pick-ups out there and its hard to say where these players will be dealt to but one thing is for sure there will be a lot of teams fighting for a few of these names but I sense some of the players will be staying put. (IE: Randy Moss)
Well the Washington Capitals seem to understand the
meaning of trade deadline and have provided us with
three trades to speak of so far today. I also feel these trades will help the team in the future and these aren’t trades that Washington Capital fans will regret or have any reason to complain about. As of now the three trades that the Washington Capitals have completed are as followed.
Well it’s official Brad Richard has been traded
from the Lightning to the Dallas Stars. It involved
a few players being traded in the process and here is the breakdown of who got what. Read blog for full analysis.

Well I just checked out NHL.com to view
the trade deadline moves that have been executed. I
noticed the most recent trade has been with the Montreal Canadians and the Washington Capitals. Looks like Montreal traded Cristobal Huet for a 2009 second round draft pick. Read my full thoughts on the blog.
I wanted to start today off with how
I did last night on my first betting experience
online and even though I didn’t win much I did win and must say I like the feeling. I only put $20 on the Raptors last night and they ended up winning so I won around $18 total.

The Toronto Raptors look to win two in
a row after Andrea Bargnani’s 25 point performance. Raptors
will be visiting Indiana tonight to face a team struggling and below .500. The Raptors need to make sure they capitalize on these opportunities of playing against below .500 teams and they need a win tonight.
As everyone I’m sure already knows Beijing is
host to the 2010 Olympics and it is fast
approaching. China has been setting up and preparing for these Olympics for years now and have loaded lots of money into it to build stadiums and facilities but they have seemed to forgot one big issue, being the fact there are hardly any normal bathrooms in which westerners are accustomed too.
Joe Sakic was finally back suited up after
missing 38 games this season from an injury. Sakic
had underwent a hernia operation on December 28th and had missed 38 games which is his longest absence in his career.
Baseball is going to be underway in under
three days, well at least Spring Training is going
to be and I can’t wait for it. I absolutely love watching baseball and being able to blog about it now has really made me happy. I’m looking at the American League East outlook this season and I have a strong feeling the Toronto Blue Jays could be a darkhorse in the race this year.
