Dale Earnhardt Jr. in his first race with Hendrick Motor Sports won the Budweiser Shootout Saturday Night at the Daytona Motor Speedway. Junior took the lead early on in the first segment of the race before yielding to Tony Stewart. He then took the leadFernandez to drive for JR Motorsports in Mexico

Hendrick Motorsports officials announced Tuesday that Adrian Fernandez will drive JR Motorsports' No. 5 Chevrolet in the Nationwide Series race at Mexico City on April 20. Fernandez, a Mexico City native, has driven for Hendrick in all three races in Mexico City, posting two top-10s. Hendrick entered into a partnership with JR Motorsports this season. Sponsorship for Fernandez comes from Lowe's.Johnson Tops the Charts in Qualifying
