2010 Pro Bowl in Miami

Now the Pro Bowl may have a little more interest to a wide audience. According to reports, the game will be played in Miami the week between the end of the playoffs and the Super Bowl. In recent years the Pro Bowl has been a total letdown after the Super Bowl. Many players opt to not play in the Pro Bowl so as to not risk injury, so the game has become a total non-draw for a national audience. This creates an opportunity for the NFL to showcase its best and brightest as a appetizer for the Super Bowl. Of course there are potential issues with the plan. The injury issue will always be there. Also the question of what will players who are playing in the Super Bowl do? Will they not have the opportunity to play in the Pro Bowl? Seems like kind of a rip off. Especially considering the best teams usually send the most players to the Pro Bowl.
