A Choke and a Smile(and a Huge Payday Coming)

 
Memphis choked away a National Title last night. There is no way around that. Does that take away from the Kansas Jayhwaks accomplishment? Not a chance. Kansas coach Bill Self has taken alot of heat over the last few years some from myself over his lack of tournament success at Kansas after leaving the University of Illinois.Even as far as last weekend he was a missed 3-pointer away from losing yet again to a double digit seed and putting the fire directly under his chair. What a difference 8 days and 2 3-point shots make. Self now has fulfilled his promise at Kansas, and in turn will be a very wealthy man.Self has two outstanding options for his career, he can stay at Kansas, where he is now loved (and expected to win more titles.) or he can go home. Home being Oklahoma State where Self played his College ball and grew up.Oh yeah there is also the HUGE payday that will await him there. Oklahoma State has the backing of T.
