Allen Iverson scored 51 points but he had just two in the fourth quarter as Kobe Bryant took over at both ends of the court to lead the Lakers to a 111-107 win in Denver. Several sequences in this game vividly showed why the Bryant-Lamar Odom duo has not been as successful as some people expected it to be: Odom has a frustrating tendency to turn easy plays into difficult ones.Lakers Beat Nuggets 111-107!!

While Iverson got cold, Bryant heated up. Bryant picked up his fourth foul 38 seconds into the third quarter and sat the rest of the period, but he played the entire fourth, scoring 12 points. With the game tied at 102, he scored six straight points for the Lakers to give them a 108-104 lead with 35.3 seconds left. Kobe is the man.
