A Legend Lost: Brett Favre has Decided to Retire

FoxSports.com is reporting that the heart and soul of Green Bay Packers' football, iconic quarterback Brett Favre, has finally decided to retire. After several years of toying with the idea of trying life after football, it looks like Favre's post-NFL life has already begun. Although no formal announcement has been made by Favre or the Packers' organization, Favre reportedly informed the team of his decision within the past several days. The news has truly stunned and saddenned Packers' fans and Brett Favre followers throughout Packer Nation. For nearly two decades there has been no such thing as Packer football without Favre leading the charge. Now he is gone, and Wisconsin is not sure how Packers' football will continue to exist. Brett, may you enjoy retirement - you have certainly earned it. All the same, we don't know what we will do without you.   [link]
