A Love-ly replacement for UCLA

 
UCLA appears to have found a replacement for Kevin Love. J’Mison Morgan, a 6-11 center from Dallas South Oak Cliff who signed at LSU, then got his release when the school changed coaches, appears to be leaning toward the Bruins, which would give Ben Howland a fifth blue chip prospect and a true big man to compliment 6-9 freshman Drew Gordon, a McDonald’s AA from Archbishop Mitty of San Jose. *** The NCAA has released its Academic Progress Rates and it looks like 53 Division I basketball programs were hit with scholarship sanctions for failing to graduate enough players. Locals Seton Hall, St. Peter’s and Manhattan, Central Connecticut will lose one ride (12) and Quinnipiac will lose two (11). Some national programs to get hit: Fresno State loses three to 10 (Ouch). USC loses two to 11 and Tennessee, South Carolina and Purdue each lose one to 12. *** Rutgers actually had the third highest APR among football programs. Excellent.
