Frank Thomas hit a two-run homer to stake Rich Harden to an early lead and Mark Ellis added a three-run shot in the Oakland Athletics' 8-3 victory Friday night that snapped Boston's seven-game winning streak. Harden (3-0) didn't allow a hit until Dustin Pedroia's solo homer with one out in the fourth on the way to winning back-to-back starts.
