A major hurdle may have now been cleared for the Red Sox as Daisuke Matsuzaka’s wife has given birth to the couple’s second child and now it seems Matsuzaka may join the Sox when they travel to Japan to open the regular season. Dice-K had previously made it clear he planned to stay in America to be with his wife during the birth and not travel half way around the world.Dice-K to Start Season Opener in Japan
