After a 7-0 homestand, the Boston Red Sox took to the field at McAfee Coliseum looking to continue their recent success. Unfortunately Tim Wakefield didn’t have his best stuff as the Oakland A’s beat the Red Sox 8-3 in front of 29,057 fans. The win snapped a 7-game winning streak for the Red Sox and they have now lost 5 straight games on the road.
