A Step at a Time For Sir Alex Ferguson and Manchester United...

 
Sir Alex Ferguson's reign at Old Trafford has stretched over two decades and the Scot has seen it all! Manchester United might be lagging behind in the Premier League but Ferguson hasn't lost any sleep over it. The season following a double was always likely to bring high expectations and Sir Alex isn't exactly overwhelmed by the start made thus far. Samir Nasri's brace at Emirates sunk United but Ferguson's men have no plans to give up, just yet. Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal are all ahead of the Red Devils with Aston Villa and Hull City hot on their heels. Not many bookies are in favour of United retaining either of their titles this season and they can't really be blamed because Sir Alex's men haven't made a flying start to their season. Cristiano Ronaldo might be back amongst the goals but as Patrice Evra earlier pointed out, its the 'consistency that's lacking' United's season could be jolted by their trip to Japan for the FIFA Club World Cup as fatigue is always a concern after ...
