Abdominal strain keeps Garnett out of lineup

Celtics big man Kevin Garnett missed his third game in a row on Thursday night, sitting out against the Dallas Mavericks because of an abdominal strain.
Coach Doc Rivers said he had no timetable for Garnett's return.
"We're just trying to get to a point where it's not a problem any more," Rivers said.
Garnett, the Celtics' second-leading scorer (19.2) and leading rebounder (9.9), sat out Sunday's loss to Orlando and Tuesday's victory over Miami.
