All Hope Is Not Lost: The Lakers Have Already Lost When Up 3-1

 
First it was a missed Courtney Lee alley-oop with 0.6 left in game two that caused Magic's fans sleepless nights. The Magic lost in OT. Then came Dwight Howard's two missed free throws in the final 11 seconds of game four that has caused a panic in Orlando much worst than that brought about by the swine flu (AH1N1) pandemic. The Magic again lost in OT. The Magic are down 3-1 instead of the one being the one to up by 3-1. Only eight teams has ever come back from a 3-1 deficit. At first glance, that statistical data may seem to be a hope crushing reality, but if you dig deeper you will find out that it is actually a ray of light for the Magic. Among the eight teams that have made a 3-1 comeback was the Phoenix Suns during the 2006 season.  And it was Kobe Bryant's Lakers that were beaten by the Suns that time. Still not convinced?
