Almagro beats Nalbandian in Mexico final

 
Top-seeded Flavia Pennetta of Italy won the Mexican Open women's tournament Saturday for her sixth career WTA title and second in three weeks, beating second-seeded Alize Cornet of France 6-0, 4-6, 6-1. "I love Acapulco," said Pennetta, also the 2005 winner and a three-time runner-up in the clay-court event. "This is one of my favorite tournaments. I always play my best tennis here. I don't know what to say, I'm too happy." Pennetta also won the Vina del Mar event two weeks ago. [link]
