Rockets guard Rafer Alston was found not guilty Friday on a drunken-driving charge.
A Harris County jury cleared the 32-year-old point guard of the misdemeanor, court spokesman Fred King said in an e-mail to The Associated Press.
Alston was arrested in August after he was pulled over by police who said he made an erratic lane change and was driving without his headlights on.
The Rockets open the regular season at home Wednesday against Memphis. Last season, Alston averaged 13.1 points and 5.
