Amongst The Elite: Brandon Roy

Since the second he stepped foot on the NBA court, anyone that knows basketball could see that Roy had super-star potential. During his rookie season, his last name told it all (ROY = Rookie Of the Year). He ended his 06-07 season averaging 16.75 points, 4.39 boards, 4.04 assists, and 1.18 steals in 57 games. He was also rewarded with the Rookie of the Year award. Two seasons later, Brandon Roy is being compared to the best players in the NBA today. His physique gives him major advantages on the court. Standing 6'6" and weighing around 211 lbs, Roy has the ability to bully his defenders and have his way with them whenever he chooses. Roy can take the ball to the hoop and finish, he can shoot from anywhere on the court, and he can nail down buzzer beaters like MJ. He has nerves of steel and has every right to call himself Mr.Clutch. What do you think?
