Analysis of the Cavs after the Wallace Trade

 
This trade isn't even official yet, but I believe it's rock solid, so I will go ahead and chime in. The big question is... Are the Cavaliers better off after this trade? I believe they are, mostly due to the aquisition of Delonte West. The Cav's needed a player like West who provides a complete game; defense, he's a gamer, rebounding, shot blocking, combo guard who can play the point.   West doesn't need to be a classical point guard because King James usually is initiating the offense anyway, not unlike Kobe in Los Angeles. If you are a fantasy owner, Delonte West is the player to target as the benefiary of this swap. Wally World is a stand & shoot 3-point only specialist who now gives the Cav's two 3-point only players with Daniel Gibson.  They are both solid role players who really shouldn't be starting. But I would rather have Boobie starting with West in the backcourt. Joe Smith, Varajao, Wallace & Ilgauskas are a solid frontline. Hughes just isn't a player you want on ... (link)
