Another One Bites The Dust: Iowa Hawkeyes Send No. 3 Penn State Packing

 
IOWA CITY, Iowa: Are these guys for real?  Iowa (6-4, 3-3) scored a major upset victory over the previously undefeated Penn State Nittany Lions (9-1, 5-1) and all but guaranteed themselves a bowl game appearance.  While Iowa basks in all the glory, Penn State is left to hang their heads and wonder how they let it slip away. This loss to Iowa slams the door on their hopes to earn a National Championship appearance. Iowa kicker Daniel Murray nailed a 31-yard field goal to win the game with one second remaining on the game clock.  That field goal was set up by Iowa's staggering 17th interception of the year, by safety Tyler Sash.  Penn State controlled the ball early, but Iowa's defense got stingier as the Lions got closer to the end zone, and that proved to be the difference. Derrick Williams played very well, lining up for the Nittany Lions at running back, quarterback, and his listed position, wide receiver.  He gave Penn State a nine-point lead heading into the ...
