Manuel Almunia: 7 : Made some great seves which included a penalty stop Bacary Sanga: 6.5 : Attacked well early on but failed to deal with Young. Shame to see him go off injured Mikel Silvestre :6: Started shaky but looked more comfortable as the game grew on. A mistake from him turn to a goal William Gallas :5.5: A poor peformance. Showed poor strength when trying to stop the much small Abonglahor from scoring. Wenger should swap him for Toure Gael Clichy :6: Attacked relatively well but conceded an unlucky own goal Samir Nasri :6.5: Did his best to open up the Villa defence but nothing seemed to work Denilson :6: Defended poorly at times but is maturing into a solid player Cesc Fabregas :6.5: Tried but couldn't find. Marks for effort Theo Walcott :6: Was a tad clumsy at times but was on the verge of breaking through the Villa defence Abou Diaby :7: Looked good at times in attack.
