Astros' brass discusses Tejada's status

The Astros' front office has been mostly silent regarding Miguel Tejada after the Mitchell Report, but on Thursday night, GM Ed Wade and owner Drayton McLane indicated that they hope to get all the facts and then move on in the spring.

According to the Houston Chronicle , there is a chance that Tejada’s immigration status in the U.S. could be in jeopardy if he admits to a crime for which he is being investigated. He is a native of the Dominican Republic, and could be denied re-entry into the States.
