Astros cut Abercrombie, Paronto

 
The Astros drew closer to finalizing their 25-man roster Friday, when they eliminated two players from consideration: outfielder Reggie Abercrombie and right-handed reliever Chad Paronto. Both were outrighted to Triple-A Round Rock. (link)
