Auburn, Alabama try to salvage seasons (AP)

 
Auburn and Alabama are limping into the Iron Bowl wounded and embarrassed. They won't be playing for a national or Southeastern Conference title or a BCS bowl bid. What is at stake? Merely their seasons. The 25th-ranked Tigers (7-4, 4-3) enter the game Saturday night two weeks removed from an embarrassing loss at Georgia. [link]
