Bad News For Yao Ming: Career Could Be Over

 
According to an article written just today by Adrian Wojnarowski titled "Rockets Could Lose Yao for Season, If Not Longer", Yao Ming's career may be over. In the article Wonjarowski states that the Rockets have stated in private to league peers that it could be a full season before Yao may possibly comeback from the injury to his left foot. This is the same foot that had three pins inserted a year ago to help stabilize the bone. It was to help protect the navicular bone, but in the playoffs the bone cracked again. A league executive told Yahoo! Sports, “It sounds like he’s missing most of next season, if not the entire 82 games. That’s all that [the Rockets] will concede quietly, but they know it’s probably much worse.” General Manager of the Rockets, Daryl Morley, refused to comment and a team spokesman said they would not comment until additional testing on Yao's foot were finished.
