Back in June, the decision by Islanders general manager
Garth Snow to trade down twice from the fifth spot in the NHL draft to select Windsor Spitfires center Josh Bailey with the ninth overall pick was met with boos from a Coliseum crowd attending a draft party. But there were cheers last night when the decision to keep Bailey on the roster rather than return him to juniors was announced before the Isles met Ottawa.
