Rockies infielder Jeff Baker has hit safely in his last three starts, but it's hard to call it a streak since his starts have been few and far between. But Monday night, he'll finally have his first streak (of sorts) of starts. [link]

Cubs Win #10,000

As Erin said yesterday in the comments, the Cubs had the opportunity to win their 10,000th game as a franchise last night and they did it with a 7-6 win over the Rockies in 10 innings. I'm not sure what 10,000 wins means other than that the Cubs have been around forever but it sure is a nice round number. Still, I'd be willing to give up 8 or 9 thousand of those wins for a few championships,
