Baker gets consecutive starts at second

Rockies infielder Jeff Baker has hit safely in his last three starts, but it's hard to call it a streak since his starts have been few and far between. But Monday night, he'll finally have his first streak (of sorts) of starts.

As Erin said yesterday in the comments, the Cubs had the opportunity to win their 10,000th game as a franchise last night and they did it with a 7-6 win over the Rockies in 10 innings. I'm not sure what 10,000 wins means other than that the Cubs have been around forever but it sure is a nice round number.
