Ballesteros has operation to drain brain fluid

Five-time major champion Seve Ballesteros has undergone more surgery, this time to drain fluid from his brain. A hospital in Madrid says doctors implanted a valve in Ballesteros's brain on Tuesday to remove fluid. La Paz hospital says he is in stable condition and remains in intensive care. Doctors also repaired a bone defect stemming from one of the procedures the golf great has undergone since his initial operation. The 51-year-old Ballesteros had surgery Oct. (link)
