Ballesteros in intensive care after 2nd surgery

 
Five-time major winner Seve Ballesteros has undergone surgery as part of treatment for a brain tumor. La Paz hospital said Wednesday in a statement that the operation took place Tuesday and was without any complications. A hospital spokeswoman said a sizable part of the tumor was removed. It was not immediately known if the entire growth had been taken out. She said the tumor would now be analyzed and would take several days before results were known. (link)
