Mike Mulligan: The Bears are so confident rookie left tackle Chris Williams will play this season despite surgery Wednesday to repair a herniated disc in his back, they insist he'll be have a spot on the 53-man roster when the regular season begins. Playing a man down -- most likely for more than half the season -- tells you a couple of things.
