Behold the Great Pretender: Texas Tech

 
When the equipment manager loaded up for the trip for the trip to Norman, Oklahoma Saturday, he made a tragic mistake. Texas Tech may have had guns up, but they were loaded with blanks. Tech finally faced a team that understands the concept of defense. The result was not pretty. The Red Raiders have looked great against teams with no defensive muscle, and every SEC fan was just waiting with giddy anticipation of facing this team and giving them the kind of thrashing they got tonight from Oklahoma. Just like the old song from the '50s, you could hear the tune in your head while looking at the Tech bench, "The Great Pretender." For you youngsters, here's how it goes...
