Ben Gordon Headed to CSKA Moscow?

The Daily Herald is reporting that Ben Gordon has been in contract talks with CSKA Moscow about a one-year deal worth about $5.5 million. The Chicago Bulls and Ben Gordon have been negotiating all summer, and it was recently reported that the Bulls have offered Gordon a five-year deal worth around $59 million. The talks with CSKA can be taken one of two ways—he is talking with CSKA in order to get the Bulls to pay up, or that he really does not want to play with the Bulls ever again, even if that means playing for less money. I do believe that these talks with CSKA will force the Bulls to either put the money up to keep him in a Bulls uniform, or trade him away so they do not lose his value. Either way, I do not believe that Ben Gordon will bolt for Europe, because he loves the NBA and there is more money to be made in America—even if he only accepts the qualifying offer.
