Connecticut is the preseason favorite to win the Big East, according to the annual coaches' poll released today. No surprise there. But none of the local teams - Rutgers, Seton Hall or St. John's - cracked the top 10 in this overcrowded 16-team conference that could have as many as nine NCAA Tournament representatives.
