Big Em for Big Money According to Bruce

 
It has been recently reported in the British newspapers and on television that Wigan and England striker, Emile Heskey, is out of contract in the summer, and that there are many potential suitors for the big striker. However, Wigan boss Steve Bruce, says that he will not be sold in January even if he brings in money whereas in the summer he won’t. The Sun newspaper recently ran a story on this and this is what Bruce had to say for himself. Bruce told the tabloid newspaper: "Some might think we'd be prepared to accept £2-3million rather than let him go for nothing next July. But I wouldn't consider it. You have to weigh that up against the £30m or so for staying in the Premier League. "And Emile could be the difference between staying up or going down. He is a talisman at this club and he has got himself back into the England team playing for us. "Of course every player has his price. If we got an outrageous offer we'd have to think about it, but I'm talking £10m ... (link)
