It was a Fourth of July filled with awe-inspiring sights for the Cubs. In his much-anticipated return from the disabled list, Cubs ace Carlos Zambrano showed off the power in his refreshed shoulder, reaching 96 mph with his fastball during six innings of shutout pitching for a 2-1 victory in the opener of a key series against division-rival St. Louis.
