Coming into the 2008-09 season, many Saints' fans are ready to see Sedrick Ellis make some plays and the Saints expect him too. The rookie was drafted by the Saints with the 7th overall pick which they traded for, which basically means that the Saints wanted him, they wanted him really bad.
They tried to trade up and get LSU defensive tackle and Louisiana native Glenn Dorsey with Kansas City's pick but the Chiefs had another idea. They wanted him too so they drafted him and the Saints settled for USC defensive tackle Sedrick Ellis.
Sedrick Ellis #98
Defensive Tackle
6'1 305 lbs.
