Blue Jays' Wells returns after missing 26 games

Vernon Wells was activated off the 15-day disabled list Sunday, returning to the Blue Jays lineup against the Cleveland Indians after missing 26 games with a strained left hamstring.

dugoutcentral.com 8/10/2008 — I agree with Paul Catalano's scorecard but I think he should give the Brewers more credit in the CC Sabathia deal. He is unlikely to re-sign with the Brewers but his presence makes the Brew Crew pretty much on par with any team in the NL. Sure Mark Teixeira has a better chance with re-signing with the Angeles, but it is anything but a sure thing that he will be back or Anaheim will win it all.
