The Lowell Spinners, Class-A Affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, will welcome Red Sox legend and Major League Baseball Hall-of-Famer Wade Boggs and Patriots kicker Stephen Gostkowski to LeLacheur Park as part of the opening weekend of the 2009 season. Boggs will be on hand Saturday, June 20 for the first hour after gates open pouring his favorite, Miller High Life, at the newly renovated Miller/Coors Hut on the first base concourse. The event is brought to the Spinners by the Merrimack Valley Distribution Group, the official beer provider of the Lowell Spinners. “We are excited to kick off our partnership with the Merrimack Valley Distribution Group with a visit from Wade Boggs,” said Spinners Vice President and General Manager Tim Bawmann. “The opportunity to have your cold Miller High Life poured by one of the best hitters the game of baseball has ever seen is an once-in-a-lifetime experience.” During his minor league career, Boggs played with the Elmira Pioneers, the ...
