Carlos Boozer is staying with the Utah Jazz.
Boozer told the Jazz on Tuesday that he would return to the team instead of opting out of the final year of his contract and becoming a free agent.
He is scheduled to make $12.7 million next season, his sixth with the Jazz.
Tuesday was the deadline for players to exercise contract options. The Jazz were still waiting for a decision from center Mehmet Okur, who also has one year remaining on his contract.
