Boston Welcomes Hank Steinbrenner to Red Sox Nation

 
I’m sensing a little bit of jealousy in the Yankee administration. I’m glad that Red Sox owner John Henry drew Hank Steinbrenner into our fan community. Maybe being a part of Red Sox Nation will knock some sense into him. He should be knocked anyway, a hard knocking too, after what he said in a recent interview.  “Go anywhere in America and you won’t see Red Sox hats and jackets, you’ll see Yankee hats and jackets,” Steinbrenner said. “This is Yankee country. We’re going to put the Yankees back on top and restore the universe to order.”  First of all, last time I checked, it was baseball that was America’s pastime, not the Yankees. Sure, the Yankees have dominated for years. Their World Series train was halted in 2000, which was the last time they were champions. Since then, the Red Sox appeared twice at that final step.
