Brandan Wright Shows Warriors What He Can Do

 
It finally happened. Golden State Warriors Head Coach Don Nelson was sick and tired of the lackadaisical effort of the team. This, in turn, is when the shape of their game against the Denver Nuggets dramatically changed. When Brandan Wright, Kelenna Azubuike, and CJ Watson were inserted into the game. With their efforts, the Warriors trimmed what was a 18-point Nuggets lead to seven at the end of the first quarter and eventually, to one at halftime. With Andris Biedrins on the bench because of foul trouble, the three players started the second half. Wright came up with huge rebounds, block shots, hustle plays, and made some key free throws as well. Even more exciting news for the Warriors is that Marco Belinelli was put in with about three minutes left in the third quarter to spell Stephen Jackson and what seemed like the Warriors' one-point lead was going to vanish.
