Braves Opening Day

 
I was so excited about the Braves season opener. It was a prime time game, ESPN picked it up, and I wanted to see what the Nationals’ new park looked like. The game was exciting! The Nats were doing pretty damn well. Hudson had a bad first inning, resulting in two runs for Washington. Hudson settled down and went 7 innings which always awesome from your starting pitcher. Chipper Jones hit the first homerun in the new ballpark and we rallied in the ninth inning only to loose in the bottom of the ninth to Zimmerman’s walk off homerun. Exciting right? Not really. Honestly I kept thinking back to the pre-game ceremonies when our nation’s president was announced to throw the ceremonial first pitch. All I hear are boos. I was in shock and couldn’t anything else but laugh. This man is our president; forget politics for just two minutes. I didn’t vote the man but I would have never booed him.
