Marcus Jordan's Air Jordan Nike shoe situation cost UCF any future it had with Adidas, according to Channel 13 News and the Associated Press. Marcus, son of NBA legend Michael Jordan, chose to wear the Nike shoes during UCF's 84-65 exhibition win over St. Leo on Wednesday night, forcing Adidas to make the move to discontinue its sponsorship with the school. "The University of Central Florida has chosen not to deliver on their contractual commitment to adidas," Adidas spokeswoman Andrea Corso wrote in an e-mail to The Associated Press before the game. "As a result we have chosen not to continue our relationship with them moving forward." UCF is in it's final year of a five-year contract with Adidas, which required each coach and athlete to wear Adidas apparel. Jordan scored one point in the exhibition win and shot 0-for-3 from the field.
