Breaking News: Ben Gordon and Charlie Villanueva to the Detroit Pistons

 
According to news out of Detroit in the last hour, the Detroit Pistons, the team with the most available cap space, have just made two blockbuster signings. The Pistons have signed SG Ben Gordon and PF Charlie Villanueva to long-term contracts. Gordon will receive $55 million over five seasons. Villanueva will receive $35 million over five seasons. Both moves were well documented before the NBA free agency started. Now they are officially in the books. So what do Ben Gordon and Charlie Villanueva bring to the Detroit Pistons starting five? Ben Gordon : The Pistons have SG Richard Hamilton but recently have been trying to trade him. Gordon brings a lot more to the table than Richard Hamilton currently does. Let’s take a look at Gordon and Hamilton and see who the better of the two is: Gordon averaged 20 PPG, 3 APG, and 3 RPG in 82 games last season.
