BREAKING NEWS: Brett Favre to Retire

According to reports on Fox Sports and ESPN, Brett Favre has informed the Green Bay Packers that he will not return for another season.  Chris Mortensen of ESPN confirmed this report after speaking with Favre's agent. As a Chicago Bears fan, I must admit that it is a sad day and the end of an era. Brett Favre showed a competitive fire that we may never see in the game again. He was a tough, hard-nosed, class act.  [link]
